4 intrepid Gyronauts are attempting to fly around Britain in 7 days.  A total distance of nearly 1200 miles.

Kevin, Martyn, Paul and Sam are departing from The Gyrocopter Experience base at RAF Benson near Oxford early this morning.

Their anticipated route (all subject to change of course is)

Friday 6^th June – Benson, Faversham, Cromer
Saturday 7^th – Cromer, Beverly, Eshott, (Scotland) Kingsmuir, Hatton
Sunday 8^th – Hatton, Inverness, Wick, John O’Groats, Wick, Inverness
Monday 9^th – Inverness, Oban, Prestwick, (England), Kirkbride
Tuesday 10^th – Kirkbride, Barton, (Wales) Caernarfon, Rosemarket
Wednesday 11^th – Rosemarket, Eagleshott, St Merryn, Lands End, St Merryn
Thursday 12^th – St Merryn, Exeter, (Isle of Wight) Sandown

 
They will be flying in 2 VPM Gyros, 1 RAF2000 Gyro and 1 MT-03 Gyro
