Welcome to the December 2013 Gyrocopter Experience Newsletter with gyroplane news, updates and information from the UK and around the world.

The Flying Show - What a great event!

The Flying Show at the NEC was our largest event ever. The Gyro Cinema, The Gyro Museum, The Shop, The Simulator and the Classroom all helped lots of newcomers understand the great fun that we have in Gyros.

The 'big boys toys' that were on display included the upgraded Cavalon, Calidus and MTO Sport from Rotorsport and the latest VIP version of the M24 and the M16 from Magni Gyro. The Zen1 (a derivative of the Xenon from Poland) also made its first appearance. It's just great to see all these machines in one place.

As well as the introduction of the Zen1, the Gyro Village was also expanded this year as the British Rotorcraft Association had a separate stand.

Give a 'Grin' for Christmas

What a great time to encourage someone to get their first experience in a Gyrocopter. Our most popular gifts are our 30 minute and 60 minute Introductory fights. It's exhilarating - give them The Gyrocopter Grin!

If you want the gift pack (something to put under the tree) to be shipped in time for Christmas then click here and order before 2pm on Friday 20th December.

If you want to place an order for a flight after that date - dont worry - we can email you a voucher right up to the end of the 24th December. Simply order the gift pack, which we will still ship after Christmas but in the meantime we will email you a copy of the voucher.

Flying over the winter period

Some of the most spectacular flying happens over the winter months. All of the schools are open all year (but check on our website for each individual location as many of the instructors take their holidays in the winter).

Remember, we also have a location in the Algarve, offering over 300 days of sunshine a year. Slots are available from 28th Jan 2014. It's a great place to guarantee the weather, only 2 days were lost last year and every student achieved 10 hours of flying in a 5 day period.

We encourage everyone to fly at different Gyrocopter Experience locations. Every instructor offers something different - but our online training notes system ensures continuity in your training.

One Great Gyrocopter - Four New Owners

Syndicating - It's the ideal way to own a Gyrocopter, if you don't want to own one outright.

Earlier this week, Trevor, Clarry, John and Walt all joined together to share ownership of an MTO Sport. This means they can all enjoy the pleasures of ownership but at a very affordable price. Not only is the capital cost shared, but the running costs are also divided amongst the group.
